Darul Uloom Abu Hanifah has developed a unique curriculum for the Arabic Language Program Urdu that aims to enable students to be able to read, write, speak and understand Arabic in one year. This course will focus on creating students’ ability to read, write, understand and speak the Arabic language
The Arabic Language Program Urdu is designed for students motivated to learn Arabic in order to gain access to the Qur’an and the Hadith of the prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) in its language, access to Islamic texts, future academic study, or even for personal enrichment.
The program incorporates intensive modules in Arabic grammar & literature, along with modules dedicated to the language of the Qur’an & hadith, as well as spoken and written Arabic. The program is taught in an environment in harmony with the norms of Islamic faith and practice and Arabic is taught as a sacred language. The program can also be studied part-time over 2 years.
Objectives
The purpose of the Arabic Language Program Urdu is to bridge the gap between the everyday Muslim and the words of the Almighty Lord and His beloved Messenger (may peace and blessing be upon him) by giving students – who are unable to study full-time – the opportunity to attain sound Islamic knowledge on a well-designed part-time schedule that accommodates university/high school studies and career goals simultaneously.
Instructors
All of the Arabic Language Program Urdu Online teachers at Darul Uloom Abu Hanifah are certified scholars from Darul Uloom Deoband and its affiliates. Each teacher has studied at an Islamic institution from which they have received ijazah (traditional certification/license) to teach the Islamic Sciences. They are qualified to disseminate the tremendous amount of knowledge that they possess in various languages; Arabic Literature Program instructors are proficient in Arabic and Urdu.
Medium
The programs are initially offered in the Urdu language. Students are also encouraged to develop Urdu comprehension so that they can benefit from the monumental work done on the Islamic Sciences in the Urdu language.
Darul Uloom Abu Hanifah stresses diversity in its student population, admitting students from all cultural and social backgrounds. The program is not designed to be exclusively reflective of any particular culture or ethnic background.

Weekly Time Commitment 4 hours/week in the class other than investing time in class, students are also required to spend up to 2-5 hours/week in self-study.
